2023 Year In Review: Monthly

2023 Was a jammed pack year! I bumped up the travel for MALWEST, added events and designed/built a home-- all while pregnant! Now I'm putting a great big (pink) bow on 2023 and am kicking back to look at all that was accomplished in preparation for a vibrant 2024. 

January: Atlanta Winter Market
Busier (and colder) than the summer market so this one really kicked things up a notch. The energy was great and I had amazing market neighbors. It was definitely a great way to kick off the year and build momentum! Directly after Atlanta market we slid into Faire's winter market and kept the trade show party going. 

February: Watercolor Workshop: Party Pelican 

A mardi gras themed workshop was a fun way to get back in the painting mode after being in Atlanta and getting out locally (a break from packing orders!) I just love pelicans and know you will see this party pelican again in 2024. It's always an easy and seamless event at Rusted Arrow and the ambiance is perfect 💜 

March: Local Event: Shop Hop
This is the first poster of a 4 poster series for the Shops of Palafox quarterly shopping events. Kicking off every season, the shops in downtown Pensacola come together for fun discounts, pop ups and other seasonal surprises. 

Trip to New Orleans and Callaway Gardens

Not exactly work trips but soaked up a lot of inspiration and was reminded how helpful little getaways can be.

SALT home studio opening: An interior design firm and studio offering home furnishing with a coastal casual style. Add a dash of salt with their expertly curated gifts. I had the pleasure of doing the branding for SALT and seeing it in action at their opening was icing on the cake!  

At the tail end of March we also found out we were expecting a little one :) 

April: Wedding suite Marlyse. A gorgeous wedding in Sarasota. What a fun venue!

Bloom event for Pensacola Mom Collective. Love creating this graphic for new and expecting moms.  

May:  End of (school) year wrap up with recitals, graduations (kinder) and kickoff to summer! 
Local event: Shop-a-palooza! Another Shops on Palafox event to kick off the season. So many fun Pensacola + Summer vibes in this design (ps catch the pelican in every poster!)

June: Dallas Market for Wholesale + Summer launch Tabletop collection 

July: Atlanta Market Wholesale gift show!

August: Watercolor Workshop at In Detail: Birds of Paradise. Fun new location for me and they have candle pouring workshops all the time! Not to mention beautiful interiors to shop! 

I even participated in craft time of my own with Pensacola Mom Collective writers making bird houses from clay with First City Art.

September: Local Event: Autumn Harvest with Shops on Palafox

- Setup temporary studio (for move)
- Labor Day weekend annual Lake Martin trip. 

October:

- Marsh Commission
- Concert (Willie Nelson and a much needed return to concerts!)  
- We (finally) moved! 

November: The largest Shops on Palafox event complete with Santa!
- CLA's Pixie Shop 

December: We welcomed our sweet baby girl! Just in time for Christmas.
